This is a sponsored post. I was compensated for my work, but the opinions are 100% my own.
After taking a little time off from live crafting, I am back with another Crafty Hangout! This month’s projects are sponsored by Consumer Crafts, and all the bloggers were challenged to make a project that can be made in less than 10 minutes. You can easily make several of the stained glass eggs in that 10 minute time frame, so they are a perfect craft if you are crunched for time.
Aren’t those colors fantastic? I just love the way these Easter eggs turned out.
To make these beautiful eggs, all you need are glass egg ornaments, alcohol ink, and canned air. You can buy both the ornaments and ink from Consumer Crafts, the canned air you can find at a big box store.
The alcohol inks layer and mix together to create gorgeous ranges of color on the outside of the glass ornaments. When the light shines through the eggs, they look like a combination of watercolor and stained glass.
The eggs look equally pretty hung from a Spring branch or piled in a glass bowl or vase, but they are at their prettiest when they are lit from behind.
You can find alcohol ink in a rainbow of colors, so your eggs can be as colorful as you would like.
Below you will find a list of the products I used from Consumer Crafts, in case you would like to order some for your own project! These are all affiliate links, if you make a purchase (of anything on Amazon, not just these items) after clicking through, I will earn a small commission. Ads and affiliate links are the way I am able to keep this website running and to offer you free tutorials all year long. Thank you so much for supporting me and Mad in Crafts!
