Mad Skills Party #65

Welcome to the 65th Mad Skills Link Party!

I have some exciting news!  I am auditioning for Season 9 of So You Think You’re Crafty this week!

If you have never heard of SYTYC, it is a head-to-head crafting competition amongst 10 crafters over a course of 10 weeks.  Each week has its own theme, the readers vote, and crafters are voted off one-by-one until there is a winner!

I have to make it through the auditions week to be able to participate, so please click over and vote for your favorite.  To be fair, I can’t tell you which one is mine.  Just vote for your favorite, and if it isn’t mine, we’re still friends. Open-mouthed smile

If you have participated in a Mad Skills Tutorial Link Party before, you have probably gotten one of my emails.  I like to highlight a few of my favorite submissions each week, and email is a great way to do it!

Sign up for the email by clicking HERE or using the form in the pink rectangle on my sidebar.  The newsletter will not be up and running for a few week’s as I build the subscription list, so until then you will receive the usual Mad Skills email.

For the Mad Skills party, as usual you can link up a post, old or new, to share with other readers. The only rule for the party is that the post MUST BE A TUTORIAL. The tutorial can be written, pictorial, or a combination of the two, but it should be a project or a process that another crafter would be able to replicate. Any Mad Skill level, from novice to advanced, is welcome!

There is a new Mad Skills Tutorial Link Party button that can be found by clicking on the Buttons tab on the new menu bar.  Please add to your blog post or update your party pages!

Also, make sure to tell your bloggy friends about this party so we can get as many great entries as possible! You have until midnight(EST) on Thursday to enter your projects!

Oh how exciting to be auditioning for SYTYC!!! My only word of advice for you is have fun and be yourself! I loved the pace of the competition with only one person being voted out each week. Good luck!
