Feature Friday: Nikki’s Nifty Knacks

Normally for Feature Friday, I pick a couple of my favorite projects that I have found throughout the week.  This week I noticed that lots of my faves had something in common.  They were all from Nikki’s Nifty Knacks!  Nikki has some great projects on her blog that are both accessible for novice crafters AND were made on a budget.  Music to my ears!  Just take a look:

Did you leave the V-Day decorations to the last minute?  Head over to see how she turned a few items from the dollar store into this hip wall hanging.  I don’t think this needs to be taken down after Valentine’s is over either!
Are you loving the red, white, and black color theme (as I obviously do)?  Then you will love how Nikki jumped on the owl bandwagon and turned a hideous, uh, I mean, um, dated-looking owl from her mom’s basement into this statement piece.
Would you believe those fashionable wall hooks used to be $1.99 Goodwill coffee-themed plaques?  I’m not lying!  What an awesome re-purpose.  Oh, and yeah, I lurrrrrve that purse.
Speaking of Goodwill goodies, Nikki took a 99 cent Goodwill book and turned it into a lovely keepsake.  Can you say Mother’s Day present?!?
Last, but certainly not least, is this fantastic contemporary buffet that she put together for… wait for it… THREE DOLLARS.  There are no words.
I need to stop myself or I will end up putting her entire blog on my blog.  Which would probably cause some sort of devastating rift in the blogosphere… or something.  I need to stop watching Doctor Who before bed.
Anyway, check out Nikki’s Nifty Knacks.  You’ll thank me later.
